Literacy Intervention in Secondary Schools (LISS) Network

The Literacy Intervention in Secondary Schools (LISS) Network was established in 2024 by Jessica Colleu Terradas and Marley Collins  in response to the unique challenges faced by educators and specialists delivering literacy intervention in secondary settings.

Our goal is to provide a space to connect, collaborate, and share best practice — building a community of practitioners committed to improving literacy outcomes for older struggling readers.

Each term, we host a live evening webinar (7–8pm) featuring guest speakers from schools and organisations across Australia who are leading effective literacy intervention programs in secondary contexts. These sessions offer valuable insights, case studies, and practical strategies that can be adapted to a range of school settings.
